Autocad Layers

Layer Manager is a very important and powerful tool for AutoCAD software from Autodesk. This allows you to create a separate drawing layer objects. Layers are imaginary surfaces that are created within the CAD drawing. Layers are used to arrange or group, to change the visibility and control of AutoCAD objects, and more. We will only discuss the concept of it.

object management:
When creating layers, each with their associated properties that are unique to that layer. For example, if you create a layer for walls, doors, windows, etc. .. You can assign them different colors, line types. You can control the object lock and unlock layers so that the object is not accidentally modified. You can determine which layer you want to land or not. You can create as many layers as you want.

organization and grouping:
You can group the layers of color, line type, name, etc. .. Also, you can create a group filter layer manager that can be saved within the drawing. Can be shared with other users as well. In the drawing room, you can isolate the subject from the same layer. For example, if you want to display only the layers with the name "DEMO" and hide the other layers in the drawing looks.

change visibility:
You can turn on or off, freeze or thaw layers in model space or layout viewport in paper space. This is very useful when you have lots of layers in a drawing and want to isolate the layer to make it easier to work.

Layer Manager is a powerful feature of AutoCAD software, allowing you to change object properties at the global level, which saves a significant amount of time. In addition, it allows you to have better control and manipulate drawing objects.
